That's a lot to go through. But I admire your courage about it. You have handled it well and you sound like you will continue to handle it well. You're one strong dude, Cory. My hat's off to you.

I get seizures with no auras. I'm on a new-ish med that seems to be catching most of them. I hope the docs figure this out for you soon...not having the answers is exhausting. Stay safe.

That pit part scared me. I’m so glad your stepdad was there, Cory, even though he got hurt pulling you back... and yes, please let the doctors fuss over you properly this time. You’ve called this normal for long enough.

Cory I am thinking of you. I know what a terrible condition this is. I am thinking of you. I am here for you. You are a precious friend and I wish there was more I could do or say to help or support.

Cory, I will continue to pray for you and seizures are so frightening. But you can't let them win. The anxiety that comes from not being in control of body and mind is very frightening. I suffer from many things associated with the nervous system. Migraines and seizures. But since I was put on an anti anxiety medication, I have not had a seizure in 2 years. Have you discussed that already. I don't know. But God knows. I really care and respect that you have shared. So many don't understand. I didn't have as a child, mine started after I had a horrible car wreck. But as a child, that had to be terrifying. I love you cutie pie.

I read this with a knot in my throat. The reality of a seizure striking with absolutely no warning—no aura, no time to prepare—is incredibly terrifying. The physical and mental exhaustion of recovering from a cluster like that is no small thing, and the fact that you are still showing up, still going to doctors, and still sharing your journey is a testament to your resilience. Take all the time you need to heal, Cory. We’ll be here when you get back.

It is scary to witness. I grew up witnessing my sister’s violent seizures. I’ve also watched the countless times she would dust herself off and say “Move along people. Nothing to see here”

I admire your strength to show up despite the storms raging in your brain. Living and creating in spite of it all. I also applaud your strength to realize when it’s time to rest.
